Global President
Sanya Olagunju

Pastor Emmanuel Olusanya Olagunju — FCCA, FCA MBA is a Fellow of both the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He holds an MBA in Technology Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He became a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) in the UK in 1987 and a Chartered Accountant (ICAN) in Nigeria in 1991. He was admitted to Doherty Memorial Grammar School in January 1973 and passed out in June 1977. As an active member of the DMGS Old Students Association since the 1990s, he has held several positions including that of the Treasurer for his 1977 class set and that of the Global Association. In the last Global Executive Council, he was the Deputy President for Africa and chaired the Implementation Committee of the newly established Doherty Old Students Endowment Fund. As for the working life, he had worked in accounting practice abroad and in Nigeria with Deloitte, Akintola Williams & Co with diverse accounting, audit and taxation experience in manufacturing, banking, oil and telecommunications industries. His working experience also took him into insurance and telecommunications. He rose through the ranks at Societe Internationale De Telecommunications Aeronautiques (SITA) - a subsidiary of France Telecom to become the Regional Director for Anglophone West and East Africa and left in 2006 to go into private business. Presently, he is a pastor at Christ Apostolic Church in Lagos and married to Adebobola with three wonderful children.

Vice President
Joshua Obabiolorunkosi

Joshua Obabiolorunkosi (1983 set) FNSE, FNIEEE, fondly known as “Obasco”, was the President of his class set until May 2025 when he was elected as the global Vice President of DMGS OSA. He’s a proud alumnus of DMGS Ijero-Ekiti. His ardent zeal and passion for DMGS OSA activities, the alma mater and his community service, Ijero Ekiti are truly inspiring. Joshua, an Electrical Engineer worked for Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He worked outside the core NNPC as a secondee at NETCO Limited and Nigeria LNG Limited for about 23 years. He led different teams that executed major onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. The eventual commissioning and operation of these projects significantly changed the landscape of Nigerian economy most of which transformed the country from a largely oil-dependent nation into a major player in the global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market. He was recalled to the NNPC headquarters Abuja towards the tail end of his working career where he was later appointed as the General Manager and eventually retired in 2022.

Wole Olayinka

Wole Olayinka, fondly known as Wolly, is a proud member of the Doherty Memorial Grammar School Class of 1979 and currently serves as Deputy President of the North America Alumni Zone. With a strong background in IT program management and organizational leadership, he brings decades of experience driving complex projects and fostering collaborative teams. Passionate about education and community development, Wolly is committed to advancing the alumni association’s mission — strengthening connections among members and supporting the growth and revitalization of Doherty Memorial Grammar School.
